Capacity Path Relief, Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping communities recover from the emotional and social impacts after disasters. With a crisis-informed, resilience-based approach, we support survivors, first responders, local agencies, and community organizations through direct services, training, and coordinated outreach. Capacity Path Relief seeks an Independent Contractor to serve as a compassionate, organized, and relationship-centered Resilience Program Manager, delivering project-based support for mental health community resilience initiatives during long-term disaster recovery efforts across 10 counties in Florida. Reporting to the Program Lead, the Resilience Program Manager plays a key role in attending Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) and COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster) meetings, building relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying and supporting mental health and wellness needs within organizations and affected communities.
In addition to representing Capacity Path Relief at recovery meetings, the Resilience Program Manager may deliver crisis-informed trainings, facilitate debriefings, and lead wellness workshops and events. This position also contributes to internal system development to support the efficiency and scalability of our recovery programming.
The contractor will be engaged for a defined contract period and will determine their own methods, scheduling, and means to accomplish the agreed-upon deliverables. Work will include representing the organization in stakeholder meetings, delivering trainings and wellness events, and compiling post-activity summaries and recommendations.
