Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Wichita, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our manufacturing workforce.
- Design and implement effective training programs aligned with manufacturing processes and company objectives
- Assess training needs and develop curriculum to address skill gaps in the manufacturing team
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve employee performance and productivity
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business goals
- Mentor and supervise training staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing and training methodologies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards through targeted training initiatives
- Manage training budgets and resources efficiently
- Develop and maintain training documentation, including manuals, guides, and e-learning materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Education, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing training or related field
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful training programs
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industry best practices, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in training software and learning management systems
- In-depth understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Experience with performance evaluation and assessment techniques
- Ability to analyze training needs and develop targeted curriculum
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability to changing manufacturing technologies and training methodologies
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification preferred
