Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and motivated Recruiting Coordinator (Part-Time / Contract) to support our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and HR. The Recruiting Coordinator will help schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and assist with sourcing, playing a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
This role can convert to FT.
Job Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple calendars and time zones.
Communicate with candidates to provide updates and ensure a professional and personal experience.
Post open roles on job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
Assist with sourcing of candidates through LinkedIn and referrals.
Maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), Ashby.
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including onboarding coordination.
Learn and grow recruiting skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
New graduate or up to 1 year of experience in recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative support.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with scheduling tools, Google Suite, or MS Office.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Interest in pursuing a career in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition.
Contract Details
Part-time or contract role (16–25 hours per week to start, with flexibility as hiring needs evolve).
Hybrid work structure with some in-office coordination in NYC.
Hourly Rate: $32.00, based on experience.
