We serve more than 5% of the Fortune 500 as their system of record, we've processed over $100M in events, and we've signed deals with Booking.com and other major distributors. We've proven the model works. Now we're scaling it through partnerships and community—starting in the Bay Area, then taking it national.
As our Partnerships Lead, you'll be our early relationship engine. You'll nail the model in the Bay Area, then scale it nationally. This is a builder role with clear output targets.
Activate High-Signal Organizers
Open doors with people who feel real pain around running frequent events: field marketing managers, ABM leads, customer marketing, community managers, meetup organizers, creators, VC platform teams. Run structured interviews to identify their pain points and introduce Bonfiire. Turn them into early adopters who will try it out, then convert those trials into repeat bookers.
Build the Venue Supply
Identify and onboard high-quality venues into Bonfiire. Ensure they have packages ready and understand the platform. Create the supply side that makes instant booking possible.
Design the Community Business Model
Figure out how to work with community event organizers, micro-influencers, and local leaders. Build an affiliate program that pays them and drives repeat use. Create a strong organic word-of-mouth funnel that scales beyond your direct reach.
Build the Ecosystem from Scratch
Don't just attend events—create them. Find high-potential interns, build a "street team," and get scrappy to drive the Bonfiire message. You'll build the initial kindling that turns into a massive flame.
Own the Finance & VC Community
Build deep connections with VCs, family offices, and finance leaders. Make Bonfiire their default solution for booking events. Drive distribution to their portfolio companies and networks.
Feed Product Insights
Provide clear feedback to the team on pain points, workflows, and what packaging resonates. Help shape the product based on real user needs.
Strong local network in the Bay Area—you know organizers, venues, VCs, and community builders
Experience running or organizing events—you understand the pain firsthand
Natural connector—you build trust quickly and people take your calls
Scrappy execution—you thrive in 0-to-1 environments and hit metrics independently
Comfort with ambiguity—you don't need perfect instructions to figure out what works
3–6 years in partnerships, community building, events, or BD roles
Leverage: Building on a proven product with real traction, not validating the idea
Impact: You'll create the repeatable motion that scales Bonfiire nationally

5 days/week in our Palo Alto office with plenty of flexibility for travel, events, and deep focus work.
