As our Marketing Lead, you'll define the brand, build the demand engine, and drive both customer and venue leads. This is a rare opportunity to join a company at the ground level with real traction and turn it into a category-defining success.
Define and Build the Brand
Create the visual identity, messaging, and narrative that makes Bonfiire inevitable. You'll craft the story that turns "booking group events" into a movement about human connection. Design the brand experience across every touchpoint—website, sales decks, email sequences, social, events.
Drive Customer and Venue Leads
Build the lead generation engine for both sides of the marketplace. Get deep in the trenches with personas—understand where they live, how to engage them, and what incentives turn them into customers and evangelists. Run scientifically crafted experiments across channels until you find what works, then scale it.
Get Tactical and Build
Don't just strategize—execute. Build the website, landing pages, sales decks, call scripts, automation sequences, and funnels yourself using modern marketing tools. Run the newsletter. Create the content. Outsource tactically when it makes you more efficient, but own the entire marketing need.
Understand the Product and Personas Deeply
Work closely with product teams, sales, and ops to understand customer and venue workflows. Conduct interviews. Map personas. Use those insights to inform messaging, positioning, and campaign strategy. Your marketing works because it's grounded in real user problems.
Allocate Budget Based on What Works
Start by creating a spark yourself through low-cost experiments. Once you find signal, allocate budget intelligently. Be highly analytical and metrics-oriented—measure everything, iterate fast, double down on winners.
4–7 years in marketing, growth, or brand roles at startups or high-growth companies
Creative visionary with an incredible eye for provocative visuals and messaging
AI-native—you use AI tools for user research, content creation, and audience targeting
Expert in modern marketing tools and comfortable building funnels, newsletters, landing pages, and automation
Strong visual design instincts (Figma, Canva) and exceptional writing ability
Highly analytical and metrics-oriented—you run experiments, measure, iterate relentlessly
Comfortable being a generalist at zero-to-one and working directly with founders
You want to change how groups gather forever—you are passionate about the importance of human connection in the AI era
You're creative and visionary but also love getting tactical with list building, user interviews, campaigns, creative assets, and more
You use interviews to inform messaging and strategy, not just check boxes
You allocate budget by creating a spark yourself first, then scaling what works
You have an extremely high bar and push yourself to meet it in everything you ship
