About the Role
We’re looking for an Event Marketing Manager who can turn conferences, executive dinners, speaking sessions, happy hours, community activations, and other events into memorable moments and pipeline.
This role blends strategy and execution. You’ll own our events motion from end-to-end, coming up with ideas for new events, evaluating sponsorships, running booths, managing speakers, coordinating vendors, and building campaigns that convert event buzz into revenue.
You’ll work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and business development to create event experiences that elevate our brand, deepen customer relationships, and open new opportunities.
Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Planning
Build our annual event calendars across conferences, partner events, VIP dinners, speaking sessions, and community activations.
Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and negotiate with vendors.
Develop event concepts that align with GTM priorities (pipeline, expansion, and brand amplification).
Execution and Logistics
Own all event logistics including documentation, contracts, venue selection, vendor management, booth design, creative assets, swag production, shipping, travel, communication, speaker prep, etc.
Create run-of-show, staffing plans, demos, and speaking tracks.
Lead onsite execution consisting of setup, teardown, and live problem-solving.
Revenue & Performance
Partner with our BDR and sales teams to drive meetings, demos, and follow-ups before, during, and after events.
Track KPIs (cost per lead, meetings booked, influenced pipeline, CAC) and work with marketing leadership and rev-ops to create clear ROI reporting.
Brand & Content
Collaborate with creative to ensure event materials are on-brand and look and feel premium.
Source speaking opportunities and prep executives/founders for appearances.
Capture content on-site (photos, videos, customer stories) for our social media team to publish across all channels.
Coordinate with marketing leadership, finance, and rev-ops to maintain budgets, contracts, and timelines.
Qualifications
2+ years of marketing or sales experience at a series A-C startup.
Event marketing experience preferred.
Extreme attention to detail. Documentation and organization are our top priority for this role.
Comfortable juggling multiple events at once while staying organized and calm under pressure.
Experience working cross-functionally.
Ability to measure event performance and communicate ROI clearly.
Travel availability (20-40%).
A bias for action, ownership, and problem-solving.
