Join Warm Beach Camp; as a team member that provides support as a Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant to the HR & Business Services Manager and Ministry team. The person in this position is expected to possess and practice discretion, accuracy, and integrity in the performance of his/her duties and passionate about enhancing the employee experience so they can focus and be at their best to achieve the ministry purpose and values. The person in this position needs to be detail-oriented and proactive, and will assist with recruiting, onboarding, training coordination and employee support throughout the employee lifecycle. Complete confidentiality, discretion and care must be taken in this position as we support the employee, manager and ministry. 

  

SPECIFICS & COMPESNATION: Pay rate will start at $18.00/hour up to $20.00/hour depending on skills and experience. 

Position starts as soon as possible.  This is a part-time, year round position of 20-25 hours a week. 

Shifts will primarily be Monday-Friday with some weekend shifts scheduled or on-call for emergencies. 

Some travel between Auburn & Stanwood will be needed to support both campus locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Human Resources

  1. Support HR Operations using Paylocity Software; develop proficiency in the Paylocity software to assist with various HR functions as directed by the HR & Business Services Manager.
  2. Job Postings and Recruitment Support; prepare and publish job postings; help manage advertising efforts and prioritizing hiring needs and resources.
  3. Hiring Process Assistance; provide support to the manager/hiring teams for the recruiting, screening, and interviewing process of candidates as needed.
  4. Onboarding Coordination; assist and provide support for all employees in Onboarding and ensuring everything is done in a timely manner and employee’s onboarding journey is smooth and efficient.
  5. Document and Policy Maintenance; Maintain job descriptions and accurate HR forms, employee manuals and policy documents. 
  6. Training Program Development; help develop a training program through Paylocity for new employees, supervisors and managers to improve the onboarding and new job training and further learning and professional development opportunities available for employees. 
  7. Safety Program and Documentation; maintain all certification and safety training documentation and support General Managers in the scheduling, implementation and training of safety and health for our employees. 
  8. Employee Support and Communication; be available to answer inquiries, and provide support during the employee experience, from onboarding, Paylocity support and instructions, orientations, benefits etc. 
  9. Record Management; organize and maintain digital and physical HR filing systems, ensuring compliance and confidentiality. 
  10. Benefits Administration Support; assist with benefit management and communication including federal regulation reports as assigned and able to assist.
  11. HR Process Improvement and Research; conduct research and provide recommendations to enhance the employee experience, recruitment, retention and policy development. 

Administrative Assistant

  1. Assist with Business Office or Mailroom tasks as needed and assigned.
  2. Help with special events such as the Benefit Auction. 
  3. Provide support as assigned for The Lights of Christmas event. 
  4. Other duties as assigned.

General Qualifications: The standard qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp staff is being willing and able in good conscience to support our statement of faith, values and mission as an Evangelical Christian, non-profit ministry. We are looking for people who are willing and able to assist as needed, is teachable and willing to learn and great customer service.
