Build strong relationships with stakeholders across organisations — from CDOs and Data Platform leaders to data engineers and analysts. Your goal will be to understand the problems they’re trying to solve.
Act as a trusted advisor for data teams on their journey to building a modern data platform.
Share Atlan’s vision and the broader principles of an agile data culture with the wider data community.
Ensure customers have all the information they need to make an informed decision about adopting Atlan — from setting up customised demo flows to running trials and POCs, office hours, and more.
Be our eyes and ears on the ground, capturing customer feedback and collaborating with our product team to help shape the roadmap.
Data background: Experience as a Sales Engineer, or as a Technical Data Practitioner in customer-facing roles (minimum 7 years).
Industry knowledge: Prior experience working with data technology.
Technical expertise: Proficiency in SQL and REST APIs; programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or another language is a plus.
Strategic accounts: Experience with Enterprise customers navigating complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals.
Problem solving: Strong analytical skills and creativity in finding solutions to customer challenges.
Communication and stakeholder management: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and build alignment across diverse groups.
Growth mindset: Excited about the opportunity to contribute to a growing company and shape its future.
Location: Based remotely in the West or Central USA.
