Dealer Development Manager - job 1 of 2

Upgrade is a growing fintech focused on affordable, responsible consumer credit and is looking for a Dealer Development Manager to represent Upgrade Auto Finance in Philadelphia. The role will develop and grow indirect lending partnerships with dealerships, act as a consultant to dealer clients, and work cross-functionally to improve processes that serve customers and drive business growth.

Skills

  • Experience in auto financing, credit management, or related financial services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated relationship-building and account management ability
  • Business acumen and ability to drive profitability
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Territory planning and market research skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (Excel, email, presentations)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new dealership relationships through networking, market research, and targeted outreach
  • Serve as a consultant and primary point of contact for existing dealer clients, resolving issues and facilitating internal support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership decision-makers and internal stakeholders (credit, funding, product)
  • Drive territory efficiency and profitability by improving dealer performance and sourcing new business opportunities
  • Stay current on local market conditions and industry trends to inform strategy and dealer outreach
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements and dealer-facing solutions

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of relevant experience and education accepted
