Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Litigation Legal Secretary
Overview:
Our client, a highly respected and established full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and proficient professional to support a top-tier legal team on meaningful cases. The role requires a dedicated individual to be on-site five days a week at one of the firm's offices in Sausalito, Cerritos, or Pleasanton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and emails.
- Prepare exhibits and assemble filings for court, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions.
- Manage attorney calendars, track critical deadlines, and schedule meetings, hearings, and travel.
- Handle document management using iManage and other firm systems.
- Respond professionally and promptly to client and internal inquiries.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experiences: A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary is mandatory.
- Other:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with document management software (iManage preferred).
- Typing speed of at least 70 words per minute.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $80,000 - $92,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
