Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets, complete sign-in and verify appointment details
- Manage incoming and outgoing client communications including appointment scheduling and reminders
- Escort clients to exam rooms and relay key information to clinical staff
- Process payments, manage invoicing, and handle prescription refill requests
- Explain common vaccines, tests, procedures, and basic veterinary terminology to clients
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and assist with occasional pet-related clean-up
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in medical or veterinary front desk or receptionist role required
- Customer service or veterinary reception training preferred
