- Strong research record with publications in top-tier ML/CV/robotics venues
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or a closely related field
- Experience applying ML/CV methods to robotics, autonomy, or embodied systems
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning, multimodal models, simulation, or robotic hardware
- Ability to collaborate across research and engineering teams and communicate technical results
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in robotic foundation models, vision-language-action models, reinforcement learning, and real-to-sim-to-real methods
- Develop algorithms for dexterous manipulation, grasping, and whole-body control
- Collaborate with other research scientists and interns on publications for top-tier conferences and journals
- Work with research engineers and product teams to test, validate, and deploy algorithms into simulation and customer-facing systems
- Analyze millions of miles of data and use industry-grade simulators to iterate on scalable solutions
Education
- MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
