Skills
- Knowledge of vehicle CAN and Ethernet communications and drive-by-wire systems
- Familiarity with sensors: LiDAR, radar, and camera systems
- Proficiency in Linux and Python; basic C++ debugging experience
- Experience with autonomous driving software components (perception, localization, planning, control)
- Field or deployment experience diagnosing hardware/software interactions
- Strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical specifications and test plans
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with OEMs to integrate and deploy autonomous driving software into trucking platforms
- Gather and translate customer requirements into technical specifications and system configurations
- Configure, validate, and tune perception, localization, planning, and control stacks for target ODDs
- Perform root cause analysis and lead resolution of complex hardware and software issues
- Train customer engineering teams on system usage, troubleshooting, and development workflows
- Document configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and integration best practices
- Coordinate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to prioritize customer-driven fixes and improvements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant hands-on experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or automotive systems
