- Schematic capture and PCBA layout experience (Altium a plus)
- Automation scripting in Python, C/C++, C#, MATLAB (LabVIEW a plus)
- Developing test and validation strategies for peripherals
- Experience with hardware communication buses (USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, serial)
- Measurement analysis (Gage R&R, process capability)
- Hardware and software integration and test processes
- Source control and revision management (Git/GitHub)
Responsibilities
- Lead end-of-line (EOL) test plan definition for new products and features in collaboration with firmware, software, and hardware teams
- Define test strategies that optimize safety, reliability, risk mitigation, FMEA coverage, and schedule
- Design, execute, and perform hands-on testing and rework of PCBAs and electrical system components
- Analyze test data, communicate results, and collaborate with design engineers to resolve product issues
- Design and implement next-generation test automation hardware for fast, repeatable testing
- Manage purchasing, build, integration, and final commissioning of functional testers
- Develop test procedures and automated test suites from component to system level
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and design-for-test (DFT) feedback
- Support manufacturing test bring-up, yield improvement, and participate in design reviews
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required)
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
