Skills
- Strong systems and full‑stack software development experience across backend, frontend, and embedded contexts.
- Deep knowledge of modern internet protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS) and network debugging/analysis (PCAP, Zeek).
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and C# for production and rapid prototyping.
- Experience with cloud services, VPN technologies (WireGuard etc.), and secure communication architectures.
- Practical experience working in constrained and air‑gapped development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy full‑stack and user‑facing software across embedded, custom hardware, and cloud systems.
- Develop network data transport technologies, pipelines, and integrations with commercial/cloud components.
- Create and operate network capture, testing, and analysis systems (PCAP, Zeek) to validate security assumptions.
- Work with project managers to provide designs, estimates, schedules, and status updates.
- Maintain and refactor existing codebases; perform code reviews and adhere to best practices and CI/CD processes.
- Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes under tight timelines and resource constraints.
- Integrate encryption and secure communication systems; architect VPN, transport, and storage security where required.
Education
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (required).
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
