- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Willingness to travel ~25% to customer and test sites
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and lead development and sustainment of an end-to-end Support System covering production, launch, depot and field maintenance, and training
- Hire, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary Support System team (technicians, engineers, technical writers, trainers)
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to define concept of employment and ensure customer inputs influence system design
- Manage plans for supporting deployed assets, including identifying critical infrastructure like maintenance depots and test sites
- Work hands-on with operators to inform support and future infrastructure design
- Develop customer training and train-the-trainer curricula suitable for modern tech products
- Manage requirements for field support equipment, shipping/logistics, shoreside C2, host vessels, and remote monitoring
- Own interfaces with other system elements to deliver a tightly integrated end-to-end capability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Marine, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in logistics/support, maintenance, or training management for fielded systems
- Demonstrated maritime craft or maritime systems support experience
