Skills
- Production experience building web applications in JavaScript/TypeScript (TypeScript, React, RxJS)
- Strong familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux, and version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD systems
- Experience with build systems and monorepo workflows (e.g., Bazel, Buck, Nx) or strong interest to learn
- Familiarity or interest in Go and gRPC/protobuf
- High empathy for fellow engineers and strong ownership mentality
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain developer tooling and web infrastructure to increase engineering velocity and product quality
- Identify developer pain points across the stack and implement solutions spanning front-end, back-end, build systems, and CI/CD
- Develop and maintain shared libraries and app building blocks (internationalization, logging, error monitoring, observability)
- Implement and improve build systems, monorepo tooling, and automated testing workflows
- Operate and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release tooling
- Support, document, and mentor other engineers on best practices and tool usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance of web delivery pipelines
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Eligibility to obtain U.S. Secret security clearance
