Responsibilities
- Lead and scale multiple engineering teams (including two offshore teams), hiring and developing senior engineers and managers.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for Core Engineering to ensure scalability, reliability, and alignment with company goals.
- Architect and evolve core services (authentication, permissions, scheduling, video interviewing, workflows, service orchestration).
- Contribute hands-on to planning, coding, code reviews, and production support as a player–coach.
- Drive platform reliability, observability, uptime, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers, other engineering leads, and platform teams to deliver secure, performant APIs and services.
- Prioritize and reduce technical debt while improving SDLC practices, CI/CD, and automation.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and cultivating a strong engineering culture.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred but not required
