Senior Supplier Development Engineer, PCB/PCBA

- PCBA manufacturing and SMT process expertise
- Knowledge of IPC standards and PCB/PCBA inspection criteria
- Experience with CAD and GD&T
- Supplier qualification and factory audit experience
- Statistical process control (SPC) and process performance monitoring
- Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and supply chain
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (≥50%)
Responsibilities
- Own PCB/PCBA commodity strategy and manage supplier production from NPI to full production across business lines
- Evaluate and qualify supplier facilities, capabilities, layouts, and workforce for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List
- Lead supplier development activities onsite, including bringing up tooling, production lines, and process controls
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, SQE, manufacturing, and engineering to drive supplier adherence to quality criteria
- Establish and lead SPC/process performance reviews and corrective action closure with suppliers
- Drive cost, yield, cycle time, and layout improvements at supplier sites
- Lead capacity expansion readiness and production ramp efforts at suppliers
- Support root cause investigations and close the loop on corrective/preventive actions with suppliers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field (required)
- Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
