Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to learn ERP/WMS systems. Teamwork and organizational skills are essential, along with flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and some college education is preferred. Familiarity with shipping processes and basic computer navigation is necessary. Certification for operating forklift equipment is needed within 90 days of hire.

Position Description:

The Logistics Coordinator manages the outbound shipping of materials, primarily LTL customer orders. Manages routing requests sent to customers and responds to issues and inquiries. This person will communicate with internal and external business groups and customers. The Logistics Coordinator monitors LTL and parcel shipping activities, ensuring that the material handling – packing, palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and loading are performed efficiently and within the prescribed timelines. 

What We’re Looking For (Key Performance Objectives): 

• Ensure Timely and Accurate Routing for Special Market Customers
• Manage and monitor routing requests to special market customers.
• Resolve routing issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and delivery timelines.
• Optimize Order Fulfillment and Shipment Accuracy
• Utilize ERP/WMS systems to close and ship customer orders efficiently.
• Run D365 reports to verify order status and ensure completion of floor orders.
• Enhance Communication Across Internal and External Stakeholders
• Maintain clear and proactive communication regarding shipments and order statuses.
• Collaborate with business groups and customers to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Drive Continuous Improvement in Outbound Shipping Processes
• Periodically review shipping workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide actionable feedback to management to support process enhancements.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation and Reporting for Operational Transparency
• Record and report key data using MS Office tools (Word & Excel).
• Deliver timely reports that track progress and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Some college preferred. 
• Able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
• Analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written (read, write) clearly in English. 
• Familiar with computers and able to learn and navigate the LR ERP system.
• Working knowledge of MS Office – MS Word and Excel.
• Flexible to work weekends and extended periods of time when needed.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member.
• Self-confident with strong initiative, good organizational skills and excellent time management
• Be able to obtain certification for operating forklift equipment (Stock Picker, Reach Truck, Pallet Rider) within 90 days of starting.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.

Compensation Range: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: years of experience, skill set, or location. Total compensation includes profit sharing bonus potential, 401k matching, and a variety of other benefits (details can be found here).
