Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of operations engineers, industrial engineers, and data analysts, including career progression and people-leader development.
- Align people, processes, parts, and facilities to meet safety, quality, output, and efficiency goals.
- Perform strategic operations engineering to optimize resources, schedules, and risk across production and launch activities.
- Analyze complex, multi-stakeholder problems and drive toward optimal solutions under uncertainty.
- Oversee development of analytical tools for delivery, capacity, cost/benefit, supply chain, and operations decision support.
- Leverage operational data to identify trends, derive leading indicators, and provide predictive insights for executives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop production strategy, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and implement effective corrective solutions.
- Define and track key performance measures and decision points to optimize production vs demand.
- Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, operations, and finance partners to synchronize efforts and capture best practices.
- Manage workforce development to ensure technicians and engineers are trained, qualified, and incentivized.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in management science, industrial engineering, operations research or related field (preferred)
