Sr. Manager, Sales Plays

Anaplan is a market-leading AI-infused planning platform used by many Fortune 50 companies. The Sr. Manager, Sales Plays will lead cross-functional efforts to design, launch, and continuously improve high-impact, industry-specific sales plays that increase field productivity, win rates, and average selling price.

  • Program and project management for large cross-functional initiatives
  • Sales enablement and go-to-market strategy development
  • Powerful storytelling and advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Stakeholder management and executive communication
  • Ability to translate vision into actionable plans and deliverables
  • Experience aligning product roadmaps with GTM initiatives
  • Experience defining, launching, and measuring sales/solution offerings

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams (marketing, pre-sales, sales, alliances, enablement, GTM Ops, customer success) to develop and evolve sales plays and associated collateral
  • Create and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies and release roadmaps for sales play rollouts
  • Align sales play roadmap with product capability roadmap and resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery
  • Shape and produce high-quality assets (customer meeting decks, value calculators, discovery frameworks) with SME feedback loops
  • Institutionalize feedback loops and advisory boards to drive continuous improvement and adoption of sales plays
  • Measure and report outcomes (adoption, lift in sales efficiency, win rates, ASP) and iterate based on results

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) a plus
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent experience is a plus
