The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. This role is based in New York City.
Researching and identifying potential clients within the travel industry
Reaching out to prospects through various channels (email, phone, social media) and understanding their needs
Presenting our innovative solutions and crafting compelling value propositions
Qualifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
A genuine passion for travel and exploring the world, coupled with an interest in the travel industry
6+ months experience in sales
Experience or desire to be working in a fast paced environment, particularly in 0-1 mode (e.g., helped to launch and grow a new product or region)
Strategic thinker and able to drive 'partnership' conversations vs. 'sales' conversations
Solution oriented
A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have strong analytical skills and an organized way of thinking/working
Proficient in GSuite and sales tech tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and more
