About the role:
AIG is seeking a visionary Head of Talent Attraction and Candidate Engagement to lead our talent attraction strategy and build a world-class employer brand that resonates across diverse markets and talent segments. This senior leadership role will be responsible for amplifying our employee value proposition (EVP), enhancing our reputation as an employer of choice, and driving innovative recruitment marketing initiatives that attract top-tier talent globally. We are on-site in the office four days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive global employer brand strategy that differentiates the organization in competitive talent markets
Define and continuously evolve the company’s employee value proposition (EVP) based on employee insights, market research, and business objectives
Partner with executive leadership to align employer brand initiatives with overall business strategy and organizational culture
Lead the development of multi-year roadmaps for employer brand maturity and recruitment marketing excellence
Candidate Brand Development
Own the end-to-end employer brand architecture, ensuring consistency across all candidate and employee touchpoints
Conduct ongoing market analysis and competitive intelligence to position the organization effectively within the talent landscape
Design and implement measurement frameworks to track employer brand health, including metrics such as brand awareness, perception, and quality of hire
Champion employee advocacy programs that amplify authentic voices and experiences
Recruitment Marketing Excellence
Build and scale innovative recruitment marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, content marketing, and experiential events
Optimize candidate journey mapping and create compelling touchpoints that enhance the candidate experience from awareness through onboarding
Leverage data analytics and marketing technology to drive performance, personalization, and continuous improvement
Establish content strategy and storytelling frameworks that bring the employer brand to life
Sourcing and Talent Intelligence
Partner with team to define and execute the global Sourcing & Talent Intelligence strategy and COE charter, integrating market insights, talent mapping, and sourcer execution into a unified, scalable model.
Build pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill roles ahead of demand; partner with workforce planning to forecast hiring and prioritize talent pools.
Advise senior HR and business leaders on talent availability, sourcing trade‑offs, and build/buy/borrow decisions; drive change management and adoption across global TA.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of employer brand and recruitment marketing professionals
Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and data-driven decision making
Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, Communications, Marketing, and Diversity & Inclusion teams to ensure integrated execution
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent attraction and employer positioning
Innovation & Industry Leadership
Stay at the forefront of employer branding and recruitment marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Drive innovation in how the organization attracts, engages, and converts talent
Represent the organization at industry conferences and forums as a thought leader
Build strategic partnerships with external agencies, vendors, and platforms
Qualifications
Required Experience:
15+ years of progressive experience in candidate attraction, employer branding, talent acquisition, sourcing and market intelligence or related fields
Demonstrated multi-industry experience, bringing diverse perspectives and best practices from different sectors
Proven track record of building and scaling employer brand programs in global, complex organizations
Deep expertise in employee value proposition development and implementation
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strategic vision with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Exceptional storytelling and content creation abilities
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and demonstrate ROI
Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, and marketing automation platforms
Outstanding leadership and team development capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence
Cultural intelligence and ability to navigate diverse global markets
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments
Background in consumer marketing or brand management
Experience leading global sourcing channels, research and candidate pipeline development
Knowledge of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems, and HR tech ecosystem
Experience Managing recruitment marketing agency relationships and external partnerships
Track record of award-winning employer brand campaigns

For positions based in New York and Wilton, the base salary range is $172,000-$216,000; in Jersey City, the base salary range is $163,000-$205,000; in Chicago, the base salary range is $155,000-194,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
