Strategic Alliance & Partnerships Manager - job 1 of 2

Affirm is a consumer finance company reinventing credit to be honest and transparent, offering buy-now-pay-later solutions without hidden fees. The Strategic Alliances & Partnerships Manager will own relationships with some of Affirm's largest partners, drive GMV, revenue and user growth, coordinate cross-functional execution, and shape strategic initiatives to expand product adoption and partner integrations.

Skills

  • 7+ years B2B client-facing experience in high-tech or related industries
  • Strong account and relationship management skills for strategic clients
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including proposals and presentations
  • Analytical ability to measure partner performance and program impact
  • Experience negotiating and closing commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and business intelligence tools

Responsibilities

  • Manage large strategic partners and develop initiatives to drive GMV, revenue, and user growth
  • Identify and own expansion opportunities and optimization of existing programs
  • Execute proactive client management strategies to increase product adoption and influence across partner organizations
  • Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to improve adoption, funnel visibility, and monetization
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, Risk) to deliver partnership initiatives
  • Pitch new lines of business, establish integration roadmaps, and build compelling value propositions
  • Negotiate commercial contracts, renewals, and respond to RFPs where applicable

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus but not required
