Zapier is on a mission to make automation work for everyone. As a Senior Product Designer on our Growth team Sprout, you'll tackle some of the most critical challenges in helping users get started, unlock new value, and grow with our platform.

This is a high-impact role. You'll own design for Templates—a high-priority growth area that currently lacks dedicated design support. This includes the full templates experience: post-click flows, sharing UI, admin/account management, and if you're a high-velocity designer, the distribution side including template cards, landing pages, and social sharing assets.

You'll be at the intersection of product, engineering, data, and marketing—imagining bold solutions, launching experiments, and refining them through insights. This is a perfect role for a designer who thrives in ambiguity, thinks systemically, and is excited to both design for AI and with AI.

About You

• You bring 6+ years of product design experience, with a focus on Growth. You’ve led initiatives across onboarding, activation, engagement, or retention in SaaS or enterprise environments.

• Your portfolio shows polish and impact. You demonstrate strong UX thinking, refined UI, and a clear link between your work and business/user outcomes.

• You think in systems, not screens. You're able to zoom in to details while also thinking holistically about how touchpoints connect across the customer journey.

• You take bold swings and bring others along. You enjoy generating big ideas, storytelling your vision, and rallying cross-functional teams around them.

• You're self-directed and action-oriented. You don’t wait for perfect clarity. You're quick to explore, eager to ship, and driven by curiosity and impact.

• You use data, research, and instinct to inform decisions. You blend quantitative and qualitative inputs—knowing when to validate and when to trust your gut.

• You move fast without cutting corners. You account for edge cases, accessibility, and interaction details early in your process.

Things You’ll Do

• Lead design for how new users get started with Zapier. You’ll craft experiences that help customers discover what’s possible with Zapier through intelligent systems, example use cases, and onboarding flows.

• Design automation kits tailored to specific roles. You’ll create shareable AI-powered templates for roles like HR, Finance, and Sales—and design ways to highlight them across surfaces, including SEO-optimized landing pages.

• Collaborate deeply with cross-functional partners. You’ll work closely with PMs, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and marketers to define strategy and execute on high-leverage opportunities.

• Balance exploration with execution. You’ll experiment quickly, test ideas, and iterate—while holding a high bar for usability, quality, and craft.

• Bring ownership and curiosity to ambiguous problems. You’ll help define the roadmap, shape customer experiences, and unlock growth in new areas.

• Contribute to design culture and systems. You’ll influence design standards across the Growth Zone and broader org, and help evolve Zapier’s design system.
