As a member of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort team, you will meet and engage with guests who have arrived to enjoy all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer and help them experience our world-class amenities such as the state-of-the-art Wild Bear Falls water park.
The Recruiter will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle recruiting and hiring processes including
conducting intake sessions, sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, and assessing candidates as well as
effectively managing the offer process. The recruiter will provide recruiting support for one or more lines
of business or client functions ( i.e. Resort Ops, Housekeeping, F&B, Corporate, Call Center, etc.). Will
effectively partner and build relationships with peers, key internal clients, candidates, and hiring leaders.
The recruiter will create a pipeline of candidates for open positions through traditional resources as well
as digital channels.
• Conducts full-cycle recruiting for open nonexempt and exempt positions
• Creates and conducts candidate generation sourcing activities builds strong candidate pipelines
and achieves hiring goals through referral generation, online social networking, job boards,
resume database mining and search engine sourcing, etc.
• Manages Grassroot recruiting activities such as networking, conducting in-person client visits,
building relationships with local associations, chamber of commerce, unemployment offices, high
schools, technical schools, universities, third-party companies, etc.
• Reviews resumes, prescreen candidates, assesses candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities
against position requirements, and make recommendations to the hiring manager
• Prepares candidate for hiring leader interviews and delivers an exceptional level of service
throughout the candidate’s journey
• Responsible for all administrative tasks such as coordinating and scheduling interviews,
administering appropriate company pre-employment assessments, completing feedback forms
and interview notes, offering letter processing, updating required trackers and reports, etc.
• Communicate effectively and timely with team members, candidates, and hiring managers
• Effectively and accurately utilizes all recruiting systems and tools
• Participate, attend and help organize hiring events, job fairs, walk-in interviews, etc.
• Daily, weekly, and biweekly follow-ups with internal clients and candidates
• Discuss forecasting needs with the client group escalate challenges to the leader and assist with
finding and executing solutions• Must comply with all CFI policies and procedures as well as all talent acquisition and onboarding
processes
• Must represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and
professional behavior always while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring leader
experience
• Must work diligently to gain knowledge and experience to execute the role to its full potential
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all tasks

Experience
• 2+ years full cycle recruiting experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
