Your Mission:

 

Responsible for providing high quality, recruiting assistance for full time management in all company markets, working with Recruiter/Trainers. This position will have a critical role to develop recruiting strategies for all positions within the stores. Utilizes a blend of cutting - edge recruiting techniques to identify, attract and secure quality candidates for the organization. Build and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, recruiting sources and community at large to accomplish hiring strategies. Act in an internal consulting role to ensure job descriptions accurately represent department or business unit needs. This position will operate independently and use judgment and discretion.


How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Plan and execute the selection process to achieve the hiring goals including developing sources for qualified candidates, selection processes, testing or assessments.
  • Act as an internal consultant to Recruiter/Trainers to assist with assessing store needs, identify job responsibilities, qualifications and skills for needed positions.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source top talent.
  • Plan and direct activities to develop sources of qualified applicants, screen applicants, and evaluate applicant qualifications forwarding those candidates to the Recruiter/Trainer.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Company Operations, vendors, community organizations, professional organizations and colleagues to create a partnership that yields success and builds credibility.
  • Research and utilize a wide variety of tools such as job board postings, database mining, search engines, referrals, networking sites, lead generation tactics, etc. to fill open positions and to develop a pool of quality, diverse talent. Maintains regular contact with quality talent prospects.
  • Proactively learn and demonstrate understanding of industry specific language and industry best practices to deepen knowledge of position and locations of positions being recruited.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory requirement compliance while enhancing quality of hire and reducing time to fill.
  • Provide status and metric reports, as requested, for management and advisory committee.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a recruiting role that included staffing requisitions, sourcing, networking, compensation, relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate internal and external networking relationships.
  • Evidence of success in a variety of recruiting initiatives including cold-call sourcing, internet recruiting, job fairs, college/alumni networking, professional organizations, etc.
  • Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and project management skills.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of local, state and federal labor/EEO laws.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (Internet, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to travel (local, out of state and overnight) as required and adhere to the corporate travel policy guidelines.
  • Experience with WorkDay is strongly preferred
