Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-quality clinical and support staff
- Mentor and develop staff through regular meetings, coaching, and educational opportunities
- Oversee day-to-day operations including inventory, facility upkeep, and system maintenance
- Manage full P&L responsibility: budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable, and cost controls
- Create non-doctor schedules to balance customer demand and labor costs
- Ensure compliance with DEA/Controlled Substances, OSHA, and applicable laws
- Engage in local marketing and community outreach to grow referral relationships
- Monitor customer experience metrics and implement action plans to improve satisfaction
- Purchase and manage equipment to optimize hospital flow and efficiency
- Participate in regional financial and operations meetings to align strategy
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant experience in veterinary, healthcare, or operations management preferred
