Skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reporting, queries, pivot tables)
- Ability to write and use SQL queries for data extraction
- Familiarity with lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen concepts
- Production scheduling, critical path and resource allocation knowledge
- Data analytics for shortage and risk identification
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Coordinate across departments to understand critical work requests and mitigate schedule risks
- Ensure MRP/ERP dates align with current vehicle products and priorities
- Prepare daily work schedules, track progress, update critical path, and communicate schedule adjustments
- Allocate resources, schedule tooling/fixtures/test equipment, and manage internal logistics for critical work
- Push/pull work to improve lead times, reduce stagnation, and meet schedule targets
- Lead root-cause analysis and permanent resolution for issues found during builds
- Identify and support process improvements to increase yield, quality, safety, cost-efficiency, and throughput
- Create metrics and queries (Excel/SQL) to highlight shortages and schedule risks; provide daily, weekly, and monthly schedule visibility
Education
- Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years professional manufacturing scheduling experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
