Area Operations Director

Centria Autism is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, founded in 2010 and now serving multiple states. We are seeking an experienced Area Operations Director to lead field operations, drive growth, ensure regulatory compliance, partner with clinical leadership, and optimize operational performance across the area.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite
  • Experience with payroll, billing, and P&L oversight
  • Analytical problem-solving and process improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (80%+)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of 8-10 Field Staff Managers and/or Operations Directors to achieve KPI targets
  • Perform weekly KPI reviews and implement action plans to drive team performance
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and workforce optimization for Behavior Technicians
  • Partner with clinical leadership to align service delivery with Centria’s clinical model and outcomes
  • Oversee HR-related functions including performance management and team member relations
  • Monitor payroll, billing, P&L, and financial performance for the area
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and credentialing requirements
  • Drive adoption and competency of operational platforms (e.g., Tech Connect) and reduce paper usage
  • Coordinate community outreach, client communications, and seamless client handoffs
  • Manage non-billable activities and optimize resource utilization across locations
  • Facilitate site transitions from DeNovo and manage staff transfers between locations
  • Review and approve client transportation requests and related credentialing

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (required)
  • Master's degree preferred

Benefits

  • Base salary range $115,000 - $125,000 per year
  • Quarterly bonus structure (can earn 10% of base per quarter; up to 40% annually)
