Skills
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience
- Proficiency in at least one server language (Python or Go)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and high-concurrency architectures
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and key-value stores (Redis, DynamoDB)
- Experience building and deploying microservices
- Proven ability to lead technical direction and mentor engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable distributed systems to handle high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices globally
- Develop and maintain high-concurrency key-value storage solutions (Redis, DynamoDB)
- Create and deploy new services within a microservices architecture
- Work with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) for transactional and analytical needs
- Own system architecture, drive technical direction, and deliver end-to-end projects
- Mentor and help grow junior engineers, providing technical leadership and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product features
Education
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
