- Bonus: experience with high-traffic distributed systems and fullstack JavaScript development
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core financial calculation algorithms and services
- Optimize performance and scalability of the calculations engine processing millions of transactions and securities daily
- Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams on architecture and features
- Own features end-to-end from design through testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and reliability
- Contribute to API design and platform integrations to support new products and geographies
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Graduate degree in a technical field is a plus but not required
