As a Senior Salesforce Administrator at Vanta, you will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our Salesforce ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence through system configuration, process automation, and data integrity across our GTM stack. You’ll partner closely with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to design and deliver scalable solutions that enable growth, improve efficiency, and enhance data-driven decision-making.

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will align our Salesforce architecture with business needs and lead key system enhancement projects. You will also ensure seamless integration between Salesforce, LeanData, and Nue CPQ to support efficient and reliable operations. Your expertise will enable us to improve lead routing, pricing and quoting workflows, and overall system reliability. You’ll also serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders—translating business requirements into technical solutions, asking the right questions to clarify needs, and ensuring transparent, proactive communication throughout every project.
What you’ll do as a Senior Salesforce Administrator at Vanta:
Customization & Configuration: Design and build scalable solutions in Salesforce using Flows, validation rules, and other declarative tools.
LeanData Ownership: Configure and optimize routing logic, assignment rules, and automation to ensure accurate and efficient lead, contact, and account flow.
Nue CPQ Management: Administer and enhance the Nue CPQ system, ensuring accurate configuration of products, pricing, quoting, and approval workflows.
Data Management: Monitor and maintain data integrity, execute regular data audits, and manage updates or deduplication efforts across systems.
System Optimization & Maintenance: Manage platform releases, assess impact, and perform ongoing system performance improvements.
Troubleshooting: Provide timely and effective troubleshooting for Salesforce and GTM tool issues, resolving technical problems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous system performance.
Cross-Functional Enablement: Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders across GTM teams by clearly communicating system capabilities, project progress, and technical trade-offs.
How to be successful in this role:
5+ years of Salesforce administration experience, with demonstrated expertise in declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, approval processes, etc.).
Hands-on experience managing LeanData and Nue CPQ (or equivalent CPQ solutions such as Salesforce CPQ or DealHub).
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and GTM process alignment.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions.
Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party GTM tools and maintaining system governance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills—able to translate technical concepts into clear business language and build trust across functions.
Salesforce Administrator certification preferred; Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder certifications a plus.
