Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $187,000 – $208,000 per year
About the Role
We’re seeking a results-driven leader to serve as Director of Behavioral Health for a reputable healthcare organization in Berkeley, CA. You’ll oversee behavioral health operations, provide staff mentorship, and lead initiatives that enhance access and quality of care.
Primary Duties
- Manage day-to-day behavioral health operations and program development
- Supervise multidisciplinary staff and foster collaboration across departments
- Partner with community agencies and internal teams to coordinate services
- Monitor compliance, quality outcomes, and financial performance
- Participate in leadership planning and behavioral health expansion projects
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related field
- Current California licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD, PsyD, or RN with psychiatric background)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in behavioral health, including leadership roles
- Strong understanding of clinical best practices and community mental health systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
