Job Details:
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Advertising and Exhibits Coordinator, an integral member of the marketing team, directs the seasonal advertising and exhibit plan for the University of Texas Press.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Experience as an intern, fellow, or employee in the publishing industry, preferably in marketing; or equivalent experience in marketing communications; or a graduate of a postgraduate professional-level publishing course. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as well as familiarity dealing with print shops and binderies, preferred.
A valid Texas, Class C, driver’s license is required to apply for this job; driving is an essential job function. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
$42,000+ depending on qualifications
Work around standard office conditions. Some lifting and moving of boxes and materials up to 40 pounds may be required.
