Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Software Systems Manager, the Workday System Analyst assumes certain responsibilities for the management and coordination of the Workday system; provides system support and leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the internal customer groups throughout the organization. Manage all contracts related to the Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project to include supervision of consultants and implementation and maintenance of the overall Workday system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages contract and procurement related to Workday, including installation and implementation.
Performs process improvements related to Workday including troubleshooting, streamlined workflow and affecting the efficient use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Evaluates and manages service levels of County’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendor to ensure prompt resolution of issues and ongoing support.
Participates in evaluation, installation, configuration and deployment of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) post-implementation internally by working with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software project manager.
Leads deployment of post-implementation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades to existing applications.
Ensures ongoing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades align with enterprise infrastructure and that technology is funded and in place to support systems.
Evaluates additional hardware/software requirements needed for successful Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades, configuration and maintenance and makes recommendations to the Director of Information Services.
Liaises with technical staff to assist with design specifications, program logic and data conversions.
Ensures Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration into County systems meets functional requirements, system compliance and interface specifications.
Collaborates with MIS and functional system owners in the testing of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software programs and applications.
Creates, maintains, and optimizes custom Workday reports, and dashboards.
Manages data uploads, audits, and integrity across Workday platform.
Ensures compliance and best practice as it relates to data privacy and security standards
Coordinates training activities with training staff on new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules before, during and after implementation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Public or Business Administration.
Three to five years of progressively responsible, relevant, professional experience in project management, process improvement and Workday system implementation is strongly desired.
Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.

Workday Implementations
At least three years of experience in government project management, process improvement and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation and administration (Preferred).
Project Management Professional (PMP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Six Sigma designation certification (Preferred).

Comprehensive knowledge of local government operations and procedures including: accounting, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, performance management, purchasing, timekeeping, employee benefits, human resources and payroll.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, however some after-hours work will be required depending on project load, or outage level.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.
The person in this position needs to be able to frequently move about inside County facilities to assess equipment needs, personnel and to facilitate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and training.
Frequently positions self to evaluate equipment and resources, including in tight spaces.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, telephone, copy machine and computer printer.
This position frequently communicates with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendor regarding implementation process and issues, with staff to ensure timely delivery of all phases of implementation and with end users to provide training. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Must be able to perceive, inspect, assess, and compare data, including software performance data and infrastructural, hardware and software needs.
Frequently moves computers and equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
The position primarily operates indoors in an office environment and risks exposure to dust. Position operates with minimal exposure to outside conditions such as extreme temperatures, humidity and inclement weather in traveling between County facilities.
The employee must be free from physical impairments that with or without reasonable accommodation would interrupt continuous performance.
Work in a confined environment under high stress.
Must be willing to carry a cell phone for work related business.
Work duties may require overnight out-of-town or out-of-state travel to include training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and holding objects weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
