Commercial Funnel & Pricing Analyst III

Summary

The Commercial Funnel & Pricing Analyst role combines expertise in CRM systems, sales operations, and pricing strategy. The role optimizes the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficient progress through the funnel and strategically pricing opportunities to maximize revenue, profitability and success rate. This is a hybrid role that will require three days a week on-site in our Milwaukee HQ location.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze customer relationship management (CRM) data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the sales funnel. Utilize this information to refine processes, streamline workflows, and enhance customer interactions.
  • Sales Funnel Management and Reporting: Track and manage leads and opportunities as they progress through the sales funnel, from initial prospecting to closing deals. Generate reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and other key metrics for management and stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Management: Manage opportunity pipeline.  Track progress towards goals, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports and forecasts for management.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams on CRM system utilization, best practices, and pricing tools and strategies.  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and revenue generation.
  • Pricing Strategy and Analysis: Develop and recommend optimal pricing strategies for products and services based on in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and cost evaluations.
  • Opportunity-Based Pricing: Analyze individual sales opportunities and determine appropriate pricing to win deals while ensuring profitability and alignment with overall pricing strategies.
  • Market Research and Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and adapt pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the sales funnel and pricing strategies. Provide forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Key SKILLS

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, draw meaningful conclusions, and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce), with experience in data manipulation and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to oversee initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure smooth execution of projects.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Operations or Business/Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of related and progressive experience, ideally in a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Proficiency in relevant ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP) and CRM (SalesForce) is preferred.
  • Strong experience interacting with internal customers is required. 80/20 complexity reduction and simplification experience is preferred.


Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
