About the Role

• Collaborate in creating, implementing and maintaining the Firm's policies & procedures

• Oversee recruitment of non-attorney hires and oversee the management of HR functions for the firm

• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations, including facilities management

• Oversee a finance team in managing firm finances, bookkeeping and accounting staff/vendors to monitor the firms progress and goals.

• Manage vendor relationships.

• Oversight over billing staff to ensure monthly billing is performed timely and efficiently

• Oversight over Accounts Receivable working with finance director to provide regular reports to the partners.

• Identify new market opportunities and other growth opportunities and implement growth strategies.

• Present operational strategy recommendations to the Partners based on market research

• Coordinate and manage firm events

• Oversee and implement firm projects as assigned by the partners

• Serve as caretaker of company culture ensuring all employees are held accountable in a respectful, dignified manner

Qualifications

• The preferred candidate will have an MBA or equivalent experience managing a business

• Experience in a law firm environment, managing a law firm or a professional services firm is a plus

• Strategic planning and business development experience

• Strong written and verbal and presentation skills

• Strong leadership, organizational and collaborative skills
