About the Role
Collaborate in creating, implementing and maintaining the Firm's policies & procedures
Oversee recruitment of non-attorney hires and oversee the management of HR functions for the firm
Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations, including facilities management
Oversee a finance team in managing firm finances, bookkeeping and accounting staff/vendors to monitor the firms progress and goals.
Manage vendor relationships.
Oversight over billing staff to ensure monthly billing is performed timely and efficiently
Oversight over Accounts Receivable working with finance director to provide regular reports to the partners.
Identify new market opportunities and other growth opportunities and implement growth strategies.
Present operational strategy recommendations to the Partners based on market research
Coordinate and manage firm events
Oversee and implement firm projects as assigned by the partners
Serve as caretaker of company culture ensuring all employees are held accountable in a respectful, dignified manner
Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have an MBA or equivalent experience managing a business
Experience in a law firm environment, managing a law firm or a professional services firm is a plus
Strategic planning and business development experience
Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
Strong leadership, organizational and collaborative skills
