Our ambition is bold. We are building the world’s leading personal training business, and a critical part of this next phase is appointing a USA Country Manager who matches our laser-focused standards, commercial drive, and passion for health and wellness.  

This is a unique “unicorn” role that requires a leader who can effortlessly operate across both analytical and creative domains, someone capable of driving robust commercial performance while also building meaningful relationships, shaping local strategy, and contributing to an elevated brand presence across the United States.

The role: 

Based in Los Angeles, the USA Country Manager will take full ownership of translating global goals into an actionable, high-impact country strategy. Supported by central functions and specialists, you will be fully empowered to shape operational execution at a local level, ensuring our studios, teams, brand, and commercial partnerships thrive in a competitive fitness and wellness landscape.  

This role requires a proactive operator with strong emotional intelligence, a commercial mindset, and genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and human performance. 

As the USA Country Manager, you will: 

  • Translate global commercial goals, KPIs, and studio targets into a clear, actionable US growth strategy. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities and risks, ensuring studios are positioned for sustained success. 
  • Present performance updates with clarity, insight, and accountability outlining results, learnings, and actions. 
  • Drive operational excellence across all US studios, ensuring the right people are in the right roles. 
  • Oversee performance across all US studios, with a focus on revenue growth, client experience, trainer excellence, and efficiency 
  • Ensure consistent achievement of commercial targets through structured planning and performance management 
  • Maintain high operational standards aligned with U.P.’s global best practices 
  • Partner with central Finance, Marketing, HR, and Operations teams to deliver initiatives locally 
  • Lead the expansion of U.P.’s B2B and corporate wellness presence across the US 
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at both local and national levels 
  • Develop and execute a clear B2B growth strategy driving brand awareness, lead generation, and recurring revenue 
  • Identify and activate new partnership opportunities through industry networks, events, and insight 
  • Oversee sales and acquisition funnels from lead identification to partnership activation 
  • Monitor B2B performance, providing forecasts, insights, and strategic recommendations 
  • Act as a visible ambassador for U.P. within the corporate wellness and fitness ecosystem 
  • Lead, coach, and inspire managers and teams, fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture 
  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, building trust with teams, clients, and partners 
  • Support the development and retention of Personal Trainers in line with U.P.’s commitment to excellence 
  • Champion accountability, standards, and a passion for client success 
  • Build and expand partnerships across health, wellness, hospitality, and corporate sectors 
  • Collaborate with Marketing on national and local campaigns, partnerships, and events 
  • Use market insight to identify trends and opportunities within the US fitness landscape 
  • Represent U.P. with credibility, authenticity, and professionalism 
  • Balance data-driven decision-making with creative brand-building and partnership activation 
  • Operate autonomously with full ownership of delivery, supported by central teams 
  • Ensure strategy and execution are informed by insight, analysis, and real-world observation 

About you: 

  • Previous experience within health leisure luxury or premium brands. 
  • Scalable mindset operationally and agile. 
  • High emotive intelligence and lead with empathy and rigour. 
  • Commercially forensic.

Salary: starting from $170,000 and up to $200,000 annually.
