Responsibilities
- Manage a $300 million combined Fire and EMS budget including development, monthly forecasting, revenue and invoicing
- Oversee programs such as special donations, deployments, and Suburban Dispatching
- Serve as Human Resources Coordinator supporting hiring, onboarding, FMLA, workers’ compensation compliance and leave tracking
- Provide oversight and guidance on grant projects to ensure timely and compliant financial documentation and submissions
- Provide transactional oversight of capital projects including setup, tracking and close-outs
- Lead or support special projects with a focus on data analytics related to budget, staffing and capital planning
- Compile financial and staffing data to support departmental operations and internal decision-making
- Supervise and develop a team of 7–9 administrative staff
Education
- Master’s Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
- Candidates lacking the specified degree may be considered if they possess more relevant work experience than required
