Today, when you go to your doctor and need to be referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends a fax (yes, in 2024, 90% of provider-provider communication is a 1980s fax). These are often converted into 20+ page PDFs, with handwritten (doctor’s handwriting!) notes, in thousands of different formats. The problem is so complex that a person has to read it, type it up, and manually enter your information. Tennr built RaeLM™ (7B—trained on 3M+ documents) to read these docs, talk to your doc to ensure nothing is missed, and text you to help schedule your appointment so you can get better, faster.
Tennr is a NYC-based tech company that launched out of Y-Combinator and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Foundation Capital, The New Normal Fund, and other top investors.
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager (Platform TPM) to help build an industry-defining low-code workflow platform — the “Visual Studio for healthcare.” This platform will give internal teams and external partners the power to configure, extend, and deploy AI-driven workflows at scale.
As Platform TPM, you’ll work at the intersection of engineering, design, and business stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with product engineers, internal teams, and external customers to translate vision into product strategy and delivery.
This is a highly technical role — perfect for someone with a builder’s curiosity. You should love tinkering with languages, frameworks, and tools, and be comfortable engaging engineers in deep discussions about technical tradeoffs. Most importantly, you’ll play a central role in shaping and scaling an industry-defining platform for healthcare technology.
Qualifications:
Technical foundation: CS degree (or equivalent) and prior experience as a software engineer.
Product mindset: At least 1 year of product management experience, preferably in technical platforms, developer tools, or B2B SaaS.
Builder’s curiosity: Loves tinkering with languages, frameworks, and tools; comfortable discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers.
Strong communicator: Can translate technical complexity into clear product narratives for executives, customers, and partners.
Bias to action: Excited to move fast, test ideas, and refine through feedback.
Healthcare interest: Passion for applying technology to solve problems in healthcare is a plus.
Strong Product & Project management skills.
