Employment Law Attorney

Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to lead their employment law practice. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned attorney with a proven track record in employment law to join a dynamic and collaborative legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing legal counsel on a wide range of employment law matters, including litigation, compliance, and workplace policies. You will be responsible for leading client engagements, developing strategies to address complex employment issues, and mentoring junior attorneys. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage employment law cases from inception to resolution, including litigation and negotiation
  • Provide legal advice on various employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and workplace policies
  • Develop and implement compliance programs for clients to mitigate employment law risks
  • Represent clients before administrative agencies and in court on employment matters
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on employment law topics for clients
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys in their professional development
  • Stay current with changes in employment law and industry trends to provide cutting-edge legal counsel
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum of 8 years of employment law experience, with at least 80% focused on employment litigation in the past 5 years.
  • Experience representing school districts or public entities in defense litigation.
  • Proven civil trial experience preferred (1st or 2nd chair roles).
  • Must have exclusively defense-side litigation experience.
  • Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
