Role Summary:
We are seeking a proven Sales Leader to establish and grow Stand’s Florida distribution network, serving as a key face of the company with our agency partners. This role will focus on building a strong agency plant, driving adoption of Citizens takeout agreements, and positioning Stand’s mitigation-first value proposition in the competitive Florida homeowners market. You’ll collaborate closely with underwriting, product, and technology teams while developing strategies, training agents, and aligning incentives to deliver profitable growth.
Core Responsibility:
Begin building an agency plant comprised of agents providing both standard and high-value homeowners' products.
Work on maximizing acceptance of limited servicing agreements for a Citizens takeout to drive a successful depopulation initiative.
Collaborate on compensation framework for agency network that rewards producer performance for profitable growth.
Training agents and communicating Stand’s unique value proposition, particularly as it applies to risk mitigation for insureds.
Interface with underwriting and product teams by providing market feedback and competitive intelligence.
Provide recommendations to product and technology teams to improve and optimize agent experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years of Florida Homeowners experience
Strong knowledge of the Florida Homeowners insurance competitive landscape and agents/brokers that fit well with the Stand value proposition
Demonstrated prior success in creating a sales strategy and executing to meet company objectives

You'll report to the Head of New Markets and work closely with our vendors who support our underwriting and operations functions
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for full-time employees in this position is $130,000 to $160,000 + Commission + meaningful Equity Grant.
Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
