- 5+ years RF/microwave circuit design experience
- Experience with 3D EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, etc.)
- Hands-on use of RF test equipment (VNA, VSA, VSG, spectrum analyzers)
- Knowledge of digital communication systems and modulation (QPSK, QAM, APSK)
- Experience with ADS, AWR, HFSS or equivalent RF design tools
- Familiarity with PCB schematic/layout tools (Altium or similar)
- Programming for modeling and test automation (Matlab, Python, C++, LabVIEW)
- Experience across Ku/Ka/V/E-band radio frequencies
Responsibilities
- Simulate and model end-to-end communication systems and RF links
- Derive top-level specifications for RF links and antenna/RF subsystems
- Design and verify RF/microwave circuits (PAs, LNAs, mixers, filters, PLLs)
- Partition functions with system architects, modem/DSP, antenna, and ASIC teams
- Characterize and analyze system and subsystem performance (BER, noise figure)
- Support regulatory, coordination, and market access teams with technical analysis
- Develop and automate test procedures for RF characterization and validation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related field (required)
- Master's degree in electrical/computer engineering with RF/microwave emphasis (preferred)
