Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier analysis and develop strategic sourcing plans to identify and qualify new suppliers and optimize cost structures
- Implement supplier stratification and a documented supplier management playbook to maintain supply continuity and performance
- Evaluate supplier capability, quality, reliability, pricing and capacity to support rapid NPI and long-term production
- Drive supplier quality and cost improvement initiatives, including service levels, lead-times, pricing and risk compliance
- Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and KPI tracking; report performance and sourcing trends to senior management
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and consult on procurement strategies and make-vs-buy decisions
- Execute RFIs/RFPs, manage bid events, select suppliers, lead negotiations, and manage contracts
- Coordinate with engineering and quality to diagnose rejected material causes and implement corrective actions
- Administer contracts, negotiate terms (pricing, scope, IP, export compliance), and manage purchase orders
- Maintain accurate master data in MRP/ERP and support buyers/planners with sourcing strategies and oversight
Education
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years professional experience in supply chain, production, or engineering
- Preferred: degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
