Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot analysis tools, enterprise applications, and automated tests supporting checkout operations
- Lead design, implementation, and code review for new software projects
- Review and improve performance, capability, and complexity of existing tools and processes
- Implement cross-disciplinary software solutions to eliminate recurring tasks and reduce operational risk
- Develop sustainable, scalable, and secure object-oriented software systems
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and provide actionable feedback
- Collaborate frequently with technicians, engineers, and managers to deliver production-ready solutions
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or a scientific discipline OR
- 2+ years of professional coding experience in an object-oriented language (including internships or relevant project teams) in lieu of a degree
