Forward Deployed Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years in client-facing technical roles (FDE, sales engineering, solutions architecture, consulting).
- Proven ability to write clean, production-ready Python (including Pandas and data manipulation).
- Deep fluency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience integrating and reasoning about RESTful APIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort operating in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Responsibilities
- Embed in client technical environments to understand workflows and design bespoke solutions.
- Design, build, and ship production-grade code (Python) and robust data pipelines into client persistence layers.
- Lead full technical lifecycle from discovery and architecture to implementation and operationalization.
- Serve as primary technical authority, running deep-dive workshops and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and prototype AI/ML solutions when appropriate.
- Translate field feedback into product improvements and scalable platform features.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
- Master's degree in a technical field is a plus.
- Relevant equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of degree.
