Position Overview
We’re looking for a Full Stack Blockchain Engineer to design, build, and scale the infrastructure and user-facing interfaces that power blockchain-enabled products across Inversion’s portfolio companies. You’ll architect end-to-end systems that bridge traditional business models with blockchain infrastructure, turning complex on-chain workflows into seamless, intuitive experiences for millions of real-world users.
This is a hands-on role for a pragmatic builder who thrives at the intersection of user experience, system design, and decentralized technology. You’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering, Head of Product, and a cross-functional team of designers, front-end, and back-end engineers to bring next-generation fintech products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Build Blockchain-Powered Systems: Develop and maintain user-facing applications and core backend services that connect traditional business processes to blockchain infrastructure.
Integrate Blockchain Functionality: Simplify complex on-chain workflows (wallets, stablecoins, payments) into intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
Develop On/Off-Ramp Infrastructure: Support integrations that connect local payment rails with blockchain-based assets for seamless cross-border functionality.
Ensure Security, Performance, and Reliability: Implement best practices in authentication, data integrity, and smart contract safety while optimizing for speed and uptime across geographies.
Collaborate Across Product and Engineering: Work closely with product, design, and engineering leads to translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly technology.
Establish Engineering Standards: Define and maintain front-end and back-end development best practices, reusable components, and testing frameworks.
Drive Product Insights and Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure Inversion’s offerings remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with evolving blockchain ecosystems.
Define and Track OKRs: Measure key results and system metrics to guide continuous improvement and long-term performance.
Qualifications
4–8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development (front-end and back-end).
Proficiency with React and TypeScript for front-end development.
Proficiency with Go or Python for back-end and infrastructure development.
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, including wallet connections, smart contract interactions, and interoperability protocols.
Experience building products that integrate stablecoins, wallets, or fintech systems.
Proven track record of launching production-grade applications with meaningful user and business impact.
Strong focus on performance, security, and scalability in distributed environments.
Passion for creating accessible blockchain products for non-crypto-native users.
Preferred Skills
Experience with mobile-first or progressive web applications.
Familiarity with multi-language or internationalized interfaces.
Background in payments, credit systems, or emerging market fintech.
