Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Reliability Engineer (Starlink)
Skills
- Bachelor’s in materials science, chemical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering
- 1+ years experience in PCB reliability or PCB fabrication
- Knowledge of PCB materials and fabrication processes
- Familiarity with IPC manufacturing standards
- Experience with failure analysis tools (X-Ray, cross-section, polishing)
- Understanding of statistical methods (DOE, process capability)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB stackups for new PCB designs
- Introduce and qualify new PCB materials with design and supply chain teams
- Create and execute PCB reliability test plans for volume production at external vendors
- Manage DFM reviews, process documentation, and communication between engineering and vendors
- Analyze trends to optimize quality, yield, and cost
- Provide design feedback to improve manufacturability
- Perform root-cause analysis and define corrective actions for reliability failures
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in materials science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or manufacturing engineering
- Relevant coursework or hands-on experience in PCB fabrication and materials
